Global ceramic capacitors market is primarily dependent on the multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) demand. Ceramic capacitor market has been led by a steady stream of investment in high-capacitance designs in Y5V, X7R and X5R dielectrics. Producers are expending an increasing share of revenues on R&D in order to extend the product range to include alternative dielectrics such as aluminum and tantalum.
